You must upgrade your MMCC3 to Beta 5!!! MMCC3 club is open - this is where you can find other players!
Please don't use any Mods! Use only clean CC3. Otherwise your units will be incompatible to units of other players. Incompatible units can cause CC3 to crash!

Feature list
- Attacks in straight lines are not allowed.
- You get up to 30% less points against AI
- Time period added to saved units. Can't move 1945 units back to 1941 anymore.
- Fixed bug that was causing units to show up too early in the war.

What is MMCC3?
MMCC3 is a project designed to create massive multiplayer CloseCombat3 environment. I envision it as large map of East Europe from Berlin to Moscow. No turns, no command structure. Just connect and play any time you feel like. You will keep your own units from one game to the next. You can change sides anytime. Many people will be able to fight asGermanss or soviets for the ultimate victory - annihilation of the other side! Game starts in 1941 and continue until 1945. But you can create your ownGermansn WestFront, Desert, Korea... anything!
Requirements:
- FULL Close Combat 3 installation!
- You must unzip all files into the ../CC3 folder!
- Application is written in JAVA - You must have INTERNET EXPLORER 5 to run it!
- You must have up to date JAVA VM from Microsoft)
- You must be connected to Internet to play!
I am releasing this Beta in order to find out any problems as soon as possible. PLEASE email me with any problems and remember this is Beta! I don't think your system will get crushed or anything will get corrupted. JAVA should be quite safe.

Installation
- Delete all previous MMCC3 directories or nothing will work!
- You must unzip all files into the ../CC3 folder!
- Remember to unzip into folders (use folder names option)
- You should notice that MMCC3 folder was created in your CC3 folder!
- Run MMCC3.exe from MMCC3 folder!
Why I am using cc3?
1) It provides ability to purchase units and upgrade them.
2) Covers long time period. Which enables winter/summer maps.
3) It has the easiest operation save file to figure out.
Which modes it is compatible with?
1) Standard CC3
2) RealRed
3) Probably any CC3 maps you have added to maps directory
4) Go ahead and try it with other modes! It might be compatible with them!
How this current beta works now:
1) Map and units are being saved, so every time you start MMCC3 your previous units will be restored.
2) You need to be connected to the Internet
3) Run the MMCC3.exe - select player name and side if you have not done it before.
4) First you need to connect to the server. Type in the TCP address and port number. Press Connect button.
5) Click on any sector. You will notice map name appear at the bottom.
6) Maps are picked at random. So Berlin might be right next to Moscow.
7) Select "front line" sector controlled by opponent. (Notice "Attack/Defend sector" button will become enabled).
8) Press "Attack/defend" button. Wait for other player to play with you or press "Play AI"
9) Now start CC3. If you are playing against AI play MMCC3Op saved game. If you are playing against human, then go to multiplayer, start hosting game, select MMCC3Op saved games and wait for an opponent to connect.
10) Play it until you or your opponent loses control of a map. PLAY JUST ONE MAP and DO NOT play other maps! As soon as you or your opponent loses control of the map, exit to finish the game. This is very important! You may play multiple days/games on the same map.
11) Now switch back to MMCC3 app. Press OK on the message box.
12) MMCC3 will extract your and AI units and save them. Map will be updated. You may loose or gain control of the sector.
13) Now do step 7.

Alpha 9:
I changed the way map is being displayed which seems to have fixed lots of problems.
If you were running out of memory and were unable to start programs with MMCC3 I believe it is fixed!
*I believe MMCC3 crushes due to Windows resolution being different then CC3 game resolution have been fixed.
*I fixed positioning of victory points.
Alpha 8:
Date added - 1 battle will move time by 10 days. (Done for demonstration purposes)
Maps.txt file now defines maps to be used. Map names followed by W will be used in snow covered sectors. Map names followed by S will be used in non-snow covered sectors.
Winter/Summer added. Depending on the date some sectors will be snow covered. File weather.txt defines time during which sector will be covered by snow.
Background map changed. This was done to demonstrate winter/summer.
File startpos.txt defines starting positions for Germany and USSR.
You can play with *.txt files if you want to. You can change background maps, but the map size must be divisable by 40! (since sectors are 40x40!). Later I will let you create your own campain, Africa, Crete, West front, anything. Remember to delete "savedmap" before trying you new config files.
Server now removes old games that got stuck there because user lost contact with server or crushed. Thats a must!
Alpha 7:
You can now play German or Soviet side!
You can swap between sides and saved "players".
Hopefully fixed problem which forced you to stay connected to internet while playing.
CC2 maps even those converted to CC3 format don't work with MMC3. If you know where the map size is stored - let me know! (other then in mapName.txt file)
Alpha 6:
Fixed couple of bugs that were stopping MMCC3 from starting (due to weird stuff in map directory)
Found the reason why AI has always so many points. CC3 seems to give AI additional points after each lost game.
Added code to help people who have problems starting MMCC3.
Huge changes in internal communication, you are testing multiplayer now beating every time you play.
AI will now attack your sectors. AI simulates remote player who wants to attack a sector. Feel free to defend them (but you don't have to!). This also means you can no longer defend sector which are not being attacked.
Known bug: Some new maps don't have deployment area for you or AI. I will look into it.
